This guide helps you see who owes your shop money, call them, and record what they pay. Everyone in the store can open the Credit page. On a phone, tap More to find it.

See who owes you

  1. Tap Credit. You see every sale with money still owed.
  2. Each row shows the customer, their phone, the receipt number, the sale date and how many days it has been owed.
  3. On the right you see the amount owed and the sale total. Sales past their due date show Overdue.

The list starts with the largest balance. To change the order, use the sort menu: Largest balance, Oldest first, Newest first or Most recent sale.

Find a customer

  • Type in the search box: a customer name, phone or receipt number.
  • Tap Overdue only to see only overdue sales.
  • Tap Filters to pick sale dates, or tick Only sales I made. Tap Done. Tap Clear filters to see everyone again.

If you have the See reports permission, you also see the total Outstanding (filtered) and Overdue (filtered) at the top.

Call and collect

  1. Tap the phone number to call the customer.
  2. When they pay, tap Record payment on their row.
  3. Fill in the method and amount, then tap Record payment.

You need the Record payments permission for this. See Sell on credit and record payments.

Tap the customer's name to open the full sale and its receipt.

When credit becomes overdue

The owner chooses when money owed counts as overdue:

  1. Open Settings, then the Discounts and credit tab.
  2. Set Credit is overdue after (days). The days count from the day of the sale.
  3. Tap Save.

Weekly summary for the owner

In the same tab, tick Send me a weekly summary of who owes money on WhatsApp. Every Monday morning, the owner gets a WhatsApp message with how many sales are overdue, what they come to, what is owed in all, and a link to the credit list. It only comes when a sale is overdue.

Tip: Call customers soon after a sale becomes overdue. A short, friendly call often works best.
