Make a sale

This guide shows you how to sell phones, laptops and accessories and give the customer a receipt. Everyone in the store can sell.

Add items to the cart

1. Tap Sell. Or tap New sale on the dashboard.
2. In the search box, type a brand, model, IMEI or product name.
3. Tap an item to add it to the cart.

Tip: Typed a full IMEI? Press Enter and the device goes straight into the cart.

Before you type, the page shows the newest devices and some products. You can tap these too.

Only available devices and products in stock show here. A reserved or archived device does not show.

Check the cart

• For an accessory, tap the plus or minus button to change how many.
• A device always counts as one.
• Tap Remove to take an item out.

Give a discount

If you can give discounts, type the amount in Discount. You can add a Reason (optional). Staff can only give up to the limit the owner sets.

Tip: To sell for less than the price, use a discount. You cannot set a price lower than the item's price.

Charge more than the price

If you can sell above the price, tap Change price on the item. Type the Price for one and tap Set price. The owner sees how much above the price you sold.

If the new price is more than double, Inventra asks More than double the price? Check for an extra zero. Tap Fix the price or Save anyway.

Take payment

1. Tap Take payment.
2. Pick how the customer pays: Transfer, POS or Cash.
3. Check the Amount paid. It starts at the full total.
4. Paying with two methods, like part cash and part transfer? Tap Split with another method and enter each amount.
5. Type the Customer name and Customer phone. Both are needed.
6. Tap Save sale.

After the sale

You see Sale recorded and the receipt number.

• Tap Print to print the receipt.
• Tap Download to save the receipt as a PDF.
• On a phone, tap Send to share the receipt PDF, for example on WhatsApp.
• Tap New sale to serve the next customer.
